India is becoming a hub of crime day by day. Every other day we here of rapes, murders, robbery and forced to commit suicide cases. Failure of city and district administration and the police is one of the cause. Mainly it's the politicians who harbour these criminals and protect them. If this keeps on I am afraid India may one day witness a huge upheaval from the elite section of people.

If there are no jobs and opportunities out there, majority of the people will fall into crimes just to survive.
There are some sections of people in India who just want everything for free and easy money like the tribals of my city. Moreover politicians want some criminals to do their dishonest and criminal work.

I think it's pretty much everywhere, cause we still have this kind of people over here as well. It is well though.

Our government should stop free bees and create employment.

It's hard for the government because of the overpopulation. Few sectors have reached the saturation and there are no scope of further jobs availability.

There's lot of vacancies in the government which can be filled up. The politicians are busy increasing their payments and fringe benefits and are leaving this post vacant.

Government failure often has serious consequences for society. Lives are threatened, the atmosphere becomes restless and full of fear, corruption is rampant, poverty levels are increasing, creating a deepening gap. If left unchecked, it could lead to a revolution.

A small kind of revolution has already started. Most people have started protesting against corruption in the government. If this keeps growing the government will be forced to mend its way.

I am not sure if it's the case but these days I don't find people have the craze to get in to the government jobs after they have stopped the pension after the retirement.

India is huge with a huge population. I don't think all of India is becoming a place full of crime, but there are surely areas or a certain amount of population that are, since living conditions in India vary greatly and generally there are more poor people in India than wealthy people.

When you compare India with other countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc, you will realize that your country is safe heaven. India is gradually becoming a safe heaven for investors. Well, be grateful that you have a country that is economic viable.

Still people do aspire for a government job, especially nationalized banks and insurance and civil services.

Crimes often occur because of lack of money or job opportunities in the country, which force individuals to do illegal activities.
I don't think so. I find some youngsters these day who want to become rich at the expense of others. Even some elderly people. I have such people around in my residential area. There are some tribals who are always at their buts to extract money.

The root causes of crimes are drugs, poverty, and exploitation. Others commit crimes to survive or to have a daily dose of maintenance of their addiction.
That's true. Addiction is a big cause of crime. Such people steal to provide themselves for their addiction.

People taking illegal drugs don't have ambitions and dreams. They do not rationalise if their decision to take the illegal drug harms them or gives them benefits.
