Is it possible to process a cheque(check) transaction electronically in your country?

In my country, you can only get a check payment processed for you manually. That means you have to get to the banking hall and present the check to claim the payment.

It could provide some convenience to have check payments processed electronically over the internet. Can one process a check transaction electronically in your country?

There is no way that you would be using checks to process electronic transactions. You must go with your physical original government issue identity for verification at the banking hall.

Checking accounts can be transacted electronically. It also depends on the checking account holders. I have a checking account before but now no more.

In my country, maybe businessmen have left the check payment instrument, businessmen prefer to use mbanking, and e-wallet for transactions. The check payment system is riskier because there are often empty checks.

Who still uses cheque for business transactions these days. That would be very stressful to process because it is manual processing.

The only country that I know where people can process cheeks electronically is the UK. It is not possible in my own country.

As far as l am concerned, l know that in my country most Banks do the manual processing and signing of the cheques for disbursement.

Cheques are normally processed manually in my country. I think there is no shortcut for that

My country's tech infrastructure is not solid enough to be able to process cheques over the internet.

I think that the technology is yet to reach that extent of processing online cheques. Here one still needs to appear in the Banking halls in person for the cheques processing and validation.

And I don't think Africa would ever get to that extent. The trust issues would not let it be possible for cheques to be processed electronically.

Cheques can't be processed electronically. There are several levels of identity verification including physical, for a cheque to be processed.
