When writing regularly, do you prefer to plan everything out in advance, or do you start writing right away? Do you enjoy listening to music or watching TV while you write, or do you find it essential to have complete silence around you? In my case, I tend to write immediately and see where it takes me, and I find that a quiet environment helps me focus best.

For me it depends on the length of the article. If it's a long article I would plan ahead and write it in silence.
