No from what i know, there is no decline on the sales of desktop, though the price has constantly been increasing.
Though I don't have any official data and statistics to show or confirm it, I am pretty sure that it has declined in the last few decades. I don't see anyone using a desktop any more. More and more people are in to laptops and iPad. Even I have a desktop from 90s. It has been lying unused in the loft area for almost 10 years.
