There is no easy answer to this question; many argue on this, especially veteran investors and entrepreneurs on this forum site. It depends on many factors, and frankly, risk is always involved in both.

In business, it takes time, effort, and often a significant upfront investment. You need to factor in marketing, hiring, and potentially unexpected expenses. While some businesses take off quickly, many others take months or even years to become profitable. The speed of profit depends heavily on the type of business, the market, your business acumen, and a healthy dose of luck.

In investment, it can offer faster returns than building a business sometimes. Terms like short-term trades in the stock market or certain types of cryptocurrency can yield quick profits or losses. But these are also very risky. There is no guarantee of fast profits, and you could easily lose your initial investment. Other investments, such as real estate or long-term bonds, may offer slower but steadier returns over time. The speed of profit depends entirely on the type of investment, market conditions, and your investment strategy.

The bottom line, both business and investment have the potential for quick profits, but they also carry substantial risk. Neither one guarantees quick riches. The speed of profit hinges on various factors, including market trends, your skills, knowledge, and a bit of luck. Which path might be faster for you would depend heavily on your skills, risk tolerance, and financial situation.

There is no definite answer, investment is a long-term strategy and as passive income while business is short-term, and is active income, both have pros and cons, also depending on the type of investment you choose and the business you run.

It all depends on a circumstance. Not all are capable to face risks, and not all have passion in investment, Most people prefer to do business than invest. They want instant profit. Though there's a short term investment, but not all are skilled on this.

I don't think there is a definite answer for this though, there are times where your business can generate profit for you faster than your investment, or vise versa.

In my experience, I profit faster in my offline business than in my online business. For a month nw, I do not have a customer in my online business, unlike my offline business, every day, there is profit.
