Consider this scenario:

A marketer wants people to watch their thirty (30) second video. But, in order to avoid paying everyone who watches it, they set a tough condition: you have to watch for forty (40) seconds! Meaning, if you lose focus for even one second, you won’t get paid.

Their dirty little secret is this: the video itself ends at the thirty (30) second mark. So, to get paid, you have to restart the video immediately after it ends and continue watching until the forty (40) second mark. For example, you would watch the first thirty seconds, then click “play” again to add ten more seconds.

In short, it’s a trick to force people to watch the same video twice or more, and deny them payment because of the deliberately set conditions.

This is cheating. Good we don't have anything like this in India.

This is my first time seeing something like this, so people actually do this kind of tricks to get more views on their videos?
Yes. Some unscrupulous advertisers are employing this sick trick.
Watch out!
