According to the report, Hamas said on Jan. 14 that it hopes for a "clear and comprehensive” deal at the conclusion of ongoing talks in Qatar’s Doha for a truce in Gaza.
The report said that the Palestinian group said in a statement that it had held consultations with leaders of other Palestinian factions. The statement said that Hamas informed the Palestinian factions “of the progress made in the negotiations underway in Doha.”
The report also stated that Hamas added that the completion of the agreement "has reached its final stages", as per a statement released by the group.
Meanwhile, negotiators are meeting in Qatar hoping to finalize details of a plan to end the war in Gaza. Earlier, US President Joe Biden indicated a ceasefire and hostage release deal was imminent.
The report added that mediators had given Israel and Hamas a final draft of an agreement on Jan. 13 an official briefed on the negotiations said.
This report was not updated because tomorrow, January 19, the first phase of the hostages will be freed by Hams and from the side of Israel. However, many are in doubt of the sincerity of the Hamas terrorists. They might betray Israel after freeing the fist phase of hostages.
