Accord9ng to the report, US President-elect Donald Trump said that he is working to secure the release of the Israeli hostages held in Gaza. “We are trying to help very strongly in getting the hostages back,” Trump said on Dec. 16 during his first news conference since his election victory.
The report said that the incoming US President reiterated that Hamas must reach a deal with Israel before he takes office on Jan. 20, or face the consequences.
The report added that on what actions would be taken against Hamas if this didn’t happen, Trump said the group is going to “have to determine what that means” but “it’s not going to be pleasant.”
Trump also confirmed that he held a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the weekend.
I hope this war ends once President Trump sits his throne on January 20, 2025. The Hamas are senseless people. If they had not attacked Israel last year, this war will not happen and escalate. The war is now getting wider . Syrian rebels showed up.
