It’s funny how when our income increases, our expenses somehow grow with it too. At first, we think, “I’ll finally be able to save more,” but then we start upgrading — better food, nicer clothes, a new phone, or more nights out. Before we know it, our spending habits have caught up with our salary.

I feel like it’s something a lot of us fall into without realizing it. Do you think earning more really helps people save more? Or does it just make us spend more without noticing?

Earning more doesn't always mean saving more. In most cases, it actually means spending more as well. The more we earn, the more our expenses increases.
