2 new Mpox Cases

According to the Department of Health, two new cases of Mpox were recorded in the Philippines, which now brings to 12 cases. One case involves a 37-year-old male from Metro Manila who displayed symptoms of Mpox and was admitted to a government hospital. This individual is the 11th confirmed case of Mpox in the country. The other case pertains to a 32-year-old male who also hails from Metro Manila, who is the 12th reported case of Mpox. It is reported that he contracted the infection through skin-to-skin contact.

In response to these cases, the health secretary of the Department of Health has advised the public to steer clear of close, skin-to-skin contact to prevent the spread of Mpox. In addition, it is recommended to thoroughly wash hands with soap and cover the skin to minimize the risk of contracting Mpox.

I saw it in TV last night. There are now 12 all in all mpox victim in our county. Hoping those in close contact to these patients must isolate themselves to avoid the spread of the virus in the other regions in the Philippines.
