Ph Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. on Friday said the war games between Manila and Washington will see the emergence of a “full scale” battle simulation.
Teodoro made the announcement during the closing ceremony of Exercise “Balikatan” in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
President Ferdinand “Bongabong” Marcos Jr. is anticipating the unprecedented scale of next year’s war games.
President Marcos looks forward to next year’s exercise which is believed to be a full battle simulation. The drill is focused on a realistic combination of capabilities in the most realistic scene.
Both nations’ forces simulated on Monday their foiling of an invasion attempt by a foreign country on the shores of Laoag. It is one of the country’s northernmost areas near Taiwan that also faces the West Philippine Sea. The drill will be done through the use of howitzers in live fire drills.
