According to recent reports, 38 Vietnamese tourists went missing on Jeju Island in South Korea. Authorities suspect they are attempting to unlawfully stay in the country. These tourists were part of a larger group of 90 that arrived on Vietjet Air from Nha Trang on November 14th. They vanished during the final leg of their tour, with a trip back to Vietnam set for November 17th.

Tourists from 64 countries, including Vietnam, can stay on Jeju Island for up to 30 days without a visa, but they cannot travel to the rest of South Korea, such as Busan, without one. An immigration officer informed Yonhap, "We are currently analyzing closed-circuit television footage to determine the whereabouts of the missing tourists.

Yes, I believe a proper investigation has to be made. I hope they are safe and no one's harmed. However, according to reports, nearly the same thing happened when some tourists decided to stay illegally.
Do you think these people were killed because they had illegal entry? That will be brutal in case they were already killed and thrown to the cliffs where no one can see their dead bodies.
