72-year-old man gets replacement ID card, having lost original 30 years ago!

Family! Today I have a heartbreaking story from Siaya, Kenya!

Imagine a 72-year-old man has gone to the registration center to retrieve his lost ID since 1992. In other words, the guy has been "anonymous" for more than a decade! The reason? He says his wallet was tight, he didn't have a cent to pay the fine for losing it. Luckily for him, this time the government has brought a free offer, the man saw this as the time to come out of hiding.

This is where we learn the importance of having a savings account at all times. If the man had been financially prepared, he wouldn't have waited three decades to become a full citizen.
