According to the report, the US is arranging a meeting between Syrian leader Ahmad Al-Sharaa and Israeli PM Netanyahu with President Trump’s participation, likely at the upcoming UN General Assembly. Syria’s new UN representative’s appointment signals this meeting, while Israel and Syria plan to sign a US-backed security agreement on September 25. Syrian President Al-Sharaa will address the UN Security Council a day before the signing. Israel and Syria have reportedly agreed on 80% of disputed issues, following a Paris meeting involving Israeli and Syrian officials aimed at a permanent agreement.

The Israeli IDF has done better or has done the work that should be carried out by the UN keeping force. UN peacekeeping forces in the Middle East waste money and resources. If you are a wise leader in Syria, build your country to make it better, and not to engage in a war and back terrorists.
