A 2-year-old girl, Fortress Isiza, is still missing after she was swept away by floodwater caused by heavy rainfall in Boji-Boji, Agbor, in Ika North Local Government Area of Delta State. Nigeria.

The unfortunate incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 13, 2025. Fortress, the daughter of Mrs. Naomi Isiza, the Assistant Headmistress of Christi Angels Elementary/Nursery School, celebrated her second birthday just two months ago.

It was gathered that Mrs. Isiza was riding her motorcycle with her two children on their way to school when she accidentally rode into an uncovered drainage at the junction of Deeper Life Street off Old Lagos/Asaba Road in Boji-Boji Owa, adjacent to her school, and they all fell.

In an instant, Fortress was swept away by the floodwater.


Witnesses rushed to assist Mrs. Isiza and were able to save both her and her son, but baby Fortress was missing.


As of the time of this report, little Fortress remains missing, despite intensified efforts to locate her.

She might just get traumatized. it's can't be easy for her at all. Losing a baby that was that young and innocent

it is not easy for her to accept unless see the dead body of her child to have a decent burial. Hoping the dead body was recovered.

Some mothers are very stupid. Why can't you wait until the rain stop before going to school? Why should she take such risk in a heavy downpour? Now, she is enjoying her life and due to reckless behavior killed a little child.
