It is reported that a 21-year-old Nigerian national has been arrested for attacking a man with a training hammer at a gym in Poland. The violent altercation occurred at a gym in Katowice, the capital city of Silesian Voivodeship on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

The victim was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.
Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the attack.

The Silesian police responded swiftly, arresting the aggressive individual at the scene.


The injured victim received medical attention, though the extent of his injuries remains undisclosed.

That's one probable reason. I can't blame the guy. He's only human. He might have felt too much pain of the insults. He was assaulted so he resorted to retaliate.

Both of them learned a lesson not to provoke the person and not to decide impulsively. It's better to stay away from that provocative place. I hope it was settled amicably.

Nigerians are friendly people and can hardly start fighting without serious provocation! I strongly believe that the Polish man insulted and provoked the young Nigerian.
