Lewis Edwards, 27, passed away in a pool accident while attending a family gathering. His mother attempted everything to save him but was unable to. His best friend, along with a nurse from the group, attempted to save him but were unsuccessful. It occurred in Perthshire, Scotland. After the accident, Lewis' friends called his mother to the swimming pool, where she discovered his son motionless. The nurse gave him CPR for an hour while they waited for rescuers, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. According to the authorities, there were no strange events, but they considered the situation unexplainable. Lewis was a tree surgeon, and his best friend only had positive things to say about him. Lewis constantly went out of his way to help others.

That's too young to die. Just 27, that's actually when the real life begins. But unfortunately, it ended for this young man. It sounds strange for such young man to get drowned in a family gathering party. Family pools will not be so deep. It must be some other issue too. My heart goes to the family, young deaths can ve devastating for loved ones.

That's very sad.
That's the reason I want to learn swimming. A swimmer can save his and others life.

Condolences to his family.
Not sure if he knew swimming ot not. We have heard of incidents where good swimmers have drowned to death. It's a family pool. So, I assume that it must not be that deep for someone to drown. There must be other reason. One similar accident happened in our apartment complex some time back. 18 years old drowned in the swimming pool. He was a very good swimmer and looked healthy. But it seems that there was undiagnosed case of high blood pressure. The youth had a sudden haemorrhage and fainted. He was alone in the pool in the afternoon. And then he drowned. Security raised tye alarm. Since he was well known swimmer, even the security guard was not alert. No one thought that he might drown. A six feet tall youth drowning in five feet swimming pool.

As reported, people including his mom tried to rescue him and the nurse even tried to give him CPR but he could not be saved. The cause of death might be different. He might have drowned after getting unconscious or after he dued due to some other reasons. Only a post mortem would reveal the real cause. We don't have information about that.

That guy might have a heart attack. He should have not swum if felt bad, or he may have experienced cramming.
Yes, anything of that sort could be the reason for him going unconscious and then drowning. A family pool is not so deep for a 27 years old to drowns abd die.

He was old enough to protect himself. He should have shouted to get attention to the people near him.

That's why there is a lot of questions. It doesn't seem like a natural case of drowning. He might have suffered something like a cardiac arrest or brain haemorrhage to collapse and drown. It is highly unlikely that a 27 years old will drown in a family pool, even if he doesn't know swimming.
