A 35-year-old businesswoman arrested by the police for battering her 13-year-old house help

Report online has it that A 35-year-old businesswoman, iEdith Nwachukwu, has been arrested by the police in Imo State for battering her 13-year-old house help, Kelechi Ejieke.


The suspect was apprehended on Tuesday evening, January 21, 2025, by operatives of the Owerri Urban Divisional Police Headquarters after the minor was rescued from her at the popular Relief Market in Owerri

What an evil human being beating a 13 year old child. She is still a child why did she forget the law. I am glad the suspect was already apprehended.

Because he is an house help does not mean he is not human, or does not have human rights. Some persons are just heartless.

She is evil, she does not deserve to live. Battering a house help is inhumane. She should taste her own medicine someday once she meets her karma. Thankful she's now in jail. Hoping the court ordered the criminal to pay the moral damages to the young girl.
