A 46-year-old man arrested for def!ling his wife’s 15-year-old niece.

The Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command, has arrested abrahim Gafaru 46-year-old man, , for allegedly def!ling his wife’s 15-year-old niece.

The police said before his arrest, the suspect had raped the minor twice last year.

According to the police, the suspect first def!led the teenage girl on December 5, 2024 and repeated the act the next day when his wife was away.

Spokesperson of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said the case was received at the Gender Unit Ikeja, through a referral letter from the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency

That was an inhuman act raping a young girl. The criminal deserves a death sentence. Hoping the girl won't get pregnant. She's too young to experience such fate.

These are such shameful acts. The person is definitely a monster and if he doesn't get a strict punishment, he might continue with the trend. No punishment is strict enough for such crimes. My heart goes out for the young girl and the wife. They must be in a great mental trauma.

The rapist was a monster. He did not feel the girl as his real niece, being the niece of his wife. How could he do that in broad daylight? That man deserved death.

I agree with you that that kind of person is not suitable to our society; he plays havoc to mankind. He has a criminal mindset. Someone like him must be eliminated from the planet..

This kind of individual is mentally sick. There's nothing on his mind but to rape. He lacks control, he better leaves home whenever he feels bad. It's also the truth that it's not advisable to let a female relative of a wife to stay with them. There's always temptation. It's better for the aunt to rent a boarding house for her niece to avoid such bad occurrence. She married a monster.

I like that the law in Nigeria now is very much strong up against rapists. They would all be punished for such.

There are so many rape cases in Nigeria. Hoping it will come to end so young girls will have freedom for themselves. That's too much abuse. Happy to hear the rapist is jailed. He can't bring back time for his few minutes of lust to the number of years to serve his crime.

These rapists are losers. They do not trust in themselves, however the rapist mentioned here is old enough to evaluate his crime. What a shame on him he didn't feel the niece of his wife his niece you. He's cruel and barbaric.

I think government should be more proactive and start creating awareness about danger of rape and start enlightening the masses of possible negative results of rape. Secondly, government should make rape a capital punishment.
