A magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck the Caribbean Sea, approximately 130 miles off the coast of the Cayman Islands, on Saturday. The earthquake triggered tsunami warnings, which were later rescinded. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the tremor took place at a shallow depth. The U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center stated that the tsunami threat from the earthquake had passed, and there was no longer any threat. Initially, waves as high as nearly 10 feet were possible in some coastal areas of Cuba, while waves up to 3 feet could have affected the Cayman Islands and Honduras. The Cayman Islands had warned residents living in the coastal areas to move inland.

That was a supposed deadly tsunami but thankful, it rescinded. When there is an earthquake, it is not good to stay near the sea. Every time an earthquake attacks the city, I and my family never miss watching the local news about the occurrence of tsunamis. We always watch the sea on our roof to where our swimming pool is there,
