Manniru Mai, a chemist operator identified at Jaba in Fanisau, Unogo Local Government Area of Kano State, has been arrested for r@ping a 9-year-old girl, Rumaisa Sadiq, to death.

It was gathered that the incident happened when the victim’s father took her to the chemist’s shop for malaria treatment. Kano State Commissioner of Women Affairs, Disabled and Children, Hajiya Aisha Lawan Saji Rano, who confirmed the victim’s d£ath in a statement, said justice would be served.
