A disturbing video has captured the moment a Bell 222 helicopter spiraled out of control and crashed in Huntington Beach, California, on Saturday afternoon, leaving five people injured and hospitalized.



Authorities said emergency crews responded around 2 p.m. following reports of a helicopter crash in a beach parking lot between Twin Dolphins Drive and Beach Boulevard. The aircraft, seen in the footage spinning before hitting the ground, was reportedly linked to the “Cars ’N Copters on the Coast” event scheduled for Sunday.

According to a spokesperson for the City of Huntington Beach, the two people on board the helicopter were safely rescued from the wreckage, while three bystanders nearby also sustained injuries. All five victims were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
