Nathalie Ross, 55, a Canadian tourist has lost both her hands in a shark attack after trying to "engage" with the animal for a photo.
She was attacked in shallow waters off Thompson’s Cove Beach on the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean at around 10.30am on February 7.

It’s believed her husband attempted to fight the shark off, before she was brought to shore. Photos show Ms Ross lying on the beach as her husband and others try to stop the bleeding.

I really don't understand how some people reason, how would you see a shark and try to engage it for a photo?

Sometimes! I use to wonder why some people don't apply simple reasoning!? How do you want to engage wild animal for a selfie? She is to blame for her loss. She bring destructive to her self.

Same here I sometimes wonder the need or fun with that. people just need to use their common sense
