According to the report, the Israeli military on Nov. 2 said it captured a Syrian spy working for Iran in recent months by crossing into Syrian territory near Quneitra.
The report said that the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that the arrest had thwarted a planned attack by what it described as ‘Iranian terror networks.’ This disclosure aims to exert pressure on the Iranian revolutionary guards amid the threat of a potential Iranian offensive against Israel.
The report added that the military named the "Iranian terror network operative" as Ali Soleiman al-Assi, allegedly a Syrian citizen living in the border village of Saida.
