A friend of mine is offering me a used TV set at a cheaper price

There is this friend of mine that is ready to offer me a 32"flat screen led TV at almost half of the buying price because he is planning to upgrade it. What are your insights towards that?

Since it's your friend, i believe you should know the kind of person he is if he would sell something that is faulty or a good product. That aside, i think it's a good deal just be sure it's still working well.
