A hotel under construction collapsed and k!lled its owner

Tragedy struck at Idumoza Community, Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, as a hotel under construction collapsed and k!lled its owner identified as Harrison Isesere.

Eyewitnesses said the building collapsed last Friday, August 1, 2025 while the owner was inside.

Over 20 other workers at the hotel site escaped d3ath by the whiskers.

Isesere's remains were only pulled out of the rubble on Sunday morning.

Building collapse have become rampant in Nigeria. All these are results of corruption. Almost everybody want to make extra profit by producing and selling sub-standard products. Society that is build on corruption will always have such issues.

Why did that happen? It is the fault of the building contractor for not protecting the lives of the people. The materials used might be weak, and there was no foundation to support it.
