A man been remanded , over the death of his 11-year old houseboy, Goodluck John.

Chief Magistrate's Court sitting in Enugu East has remanded one Mr. Anthony Onyeukwu, over the death of his 11-year old houseboy, Goodluck John.

This, the Enugu State Government said, was in line with its sustained war against all forms of child abuse.


According to the Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs and Social Development, Enugu Mrs. Ngozi Enih, Mr. Onyeukwu, aged 47, was arrested following a tip-off from one of the Ministry’s whistle-blower channels that the young Goodluck John's death was linked to abuse in the hands of the family where he lived with as a houseboy.

Proper investigation should be carried out to find out what exactly cost the death of the child, and if the man is at fault, action should be taken.

Yeah right that the right thing to be done. if the man is found guilty then it is to lock him up forever
