A man has appeared in court charged with murd£ring his 'well-known' parents and brother at their home in Ireland.

31-year-old Robert O'Connor of Drumgowna, Louth village, was brought before a special sitting of Drogheda District Court.

His solicitor told the court Mr O'Connor has been getting mental health support since he was 22.

O'Connor is charged with the murder of his mother, Louise, 56, his father, Mark, 54, and his brother Evan, 27, at their family home in Drumgowna on Monday morning.

That's horrible. How were they killed? Why didn't have defended themselves? If the killer is mentally ill the family should have sent him to a mental hospital for treatment. Anyway the court will know it it's true that he's mentally sick. Hoping justice be served. What an ingrate son.

Love wasn't deeply rooted and nurtured in thetr family. When there's love, no one can do such brutal and horrible crime killing the parents and brother. What's the motive? Why did he kill his parents and brother? This criminal should not have been born.

These kind of cases have gained so much popularity nowadays. l really urge for the relevant authorities to take legal actions to curb that.
Yes this kind of cases are just so rampant now. I wonder what's happening to the family unit
