RPGs always have stories that stick with people, and what happened in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a perfect example. One player beat a super tough boss using a crazy strategy, which even shocked one of the game's creators. For me, the best part is how player ingenuity can top anything the designers came up with.
I think the cool thing about RPGs is that freedom – you can beat each fight in tons of ways, making for one-of-a-kind experiences. It's neat that the developer was impressed and respected the community. To me, the key thing is that these wins get other players to try stuff out. I feel this story just brings out what RPGs are all about.
