A staff had an affair with a married client and it blows up. What do you do as the business owner?

It is a school and the said staff has a romantic affair with the father of one of her pupils. The man's wife has threatened to withdraw the children from the school because of that. It has already blown up and the staff has admitted to the affair.

As a business owner, am I supposed to react to what two consenting adults are doing even though one is a staff and the other a married client? Should I retain my staff and let the man's wife withdraw the kids? Or sack the staff for the woman to keep the kids?

If I owned the school, I would have a private session with the parents and the staff and make the staff apologize to the woman, promising to end such affair. If that doesn't work with the woman, I don't know what to do again.

My business first so it is to sack the staff. first, she did a morally wrong thing. She commited adultery with the man. So let her get sacked she might reflect on what she did and repent or lesrned her lesson if she can.

I don't think I would sack the staff. I would not throw my staff under the bus for having an affair and there was no trace of harassment.

That staff has caused a customer pain rather than serving the customer. She needs to be relieved of her duty to serve as deterrent to others.

The truth of the matter is that they are both adults, and I can't really control what they do, but where the issue lies is the fact that it is now affecting my business. If this would affect the business in the long run, am going to have to let the staff go.
