Even if you are a taxi driver, you need to follow the legal laws. It's crucial to violate the traffic laws of the land apart from the licences like driver's licence but also the spare parts and accessories of the car.

Two months ago, I hired a taxi for work. My car was in the shop for maintenance safety. It took only 4 hours because there were 4 cars ahead of mine so I went to work by hiring a taxi. That morning it was raining so hard. I sat in the front seat and noticed the taxi has no wiper. The driver wiped the glass shield using his towel. I told him to operate the wiper he said damaged.

There was a heavy traffic and the glass so blurred and all of a sudden from nowhere, a highway patrol knocked the glass and the driver was in panic. The high way patrol checked the wiper but he found none. The side mirror was not fixed.

The high patrol confiscated his driver's licenced and issued him a ticket for penalty fee. He was instructed to report to the office of the LTO the next day to settle the matter.

I have learned from the other taxi driver whom I interviewed that the said driver was suspended for driving for failure to comply the traffic laws. No one is above the law, we need to operate legally.

It’s dangerous, and I’m glad you weren’t in an accident. Drivers need to be responsible and follow the laws to avoid penalties and accidents. I hope he learns from his mistakes.
It was so timely; we stopped on the highway because of the traffic. I was in a panic at that time. The front glass was so blurred, and the driver was in his middle 50s.
