A woman has been arrested after she allegedly beat her stepson with a pestle and broke his bone. The incident was shared by a neighbour on X.

According to the neighbour, the 3-year-old victim, named Kaitochikwu, was heard crying and a neighbour broke into their flat to find the boy unable to stand and his leg was "dangling". He was rushed to a hospital by the neighbour and was later transfered to an orthopaedic hospital in Enugu.

When his father got to the hospital and asked what happened, the boy said it was his stepmother who beat him.
An X-ray showed that a bone in his thigh was broken during the assault.

But the child is only 3 years old, how could she beat the child brutally. Couldn't she hear the plea of the child and see his tears flowing nonstop? That woman must be sentenced to death.

Indeed, that's why I said there should be a limit, you can't beat a three year old child like that. In most cases taking to them and a little spank on the behind is enough to make them understand they did something wrong. Or it might be because it's her stepson. There have been lots of cases of step parents being too harsh on the step children.

It also happened here in my place, the child was brutally abused by the second wife of the girl's dad. The girl was strangled to death when the child cried. She wanted to drink milk but her step mom strangled her to death instead. She left the crime scene but was apprehended by the authorities. She was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Yes, too bad and it was a big topic in the city. The girl was sent to the dormitory run by nuns for a pray over so the child can recover her good mental state. She is now a university student in Texas where her grandparents migrated.

No she can't forget as such might not be wiped out from her memory. This is why I don't like to go through any traumatic experience it might just scar you for life even with healing

The girl is so pitiful if she continues living in her place, she might commit suicide for the bulies may not end. She will be humiliated despite being a victim. I hope her future husband will accept and love her unconditionally.
