Polymarket.com is a convenient, decentralized and transparent prediction market/prediction investment platform, smart contracts based on Polygon and Ethereum blockchain. Where users bet/speculate on real world events such as economics, politics, science etc. by buying shares and paying with USDC based on Polygon or Ethereum
There are three types of markets at Polymarket such as:
1. The Binary Market is the simplest and easiest option. Users only need to use a yes or no answer.
For example, you create a market with the question "Will it rain on New Year's Eve 2025/2026?" If you buy shares at $1 per share for "Yes" and it rains on New Year's Eve then you will get shares worth $1 per share. otherwise your shares will be worth zero.
2. Categorical Markets allow users to choose more than two options to speculate.
3. Scalar Market predicts whether it is higher or lower and works with such value ranges. Will Bitcoin price be higher or lower than $90k on Jan 1, 2026.
