According to the National News Agency of Lebanon, an Israeli airstrike targeted a housing compound in southern Lebanon, killing three media staff members. Two journalists from Al-Mayadeen TV, a well-known pan-Arab network based in Beirut that covers regional events extensively were among those killed. The third victim was a camera operator connected with Al-Manar TV, who was killed in the Hasbaya region. Many journalists have been killed since the resurgence of conflict along the Lebanon-Israel border, which began in October of last year. The alarming trend emphasizes the growing dangers that journalists face in conflict zones.
