This annual show takes place in my city and its here again for 2025. And we as residents have started witnessing the practice and preparation in the last few weeks. Big aircrafts fly over our buildings causing some noise and disturbances every day. The show is from 10th February to 14 th February. And it's a spectacular one.
From a modest beginning in 1996, the show has come a long way and is now Asia's largest defence and aerospace airshow. And since the 13th edition, it has been growing beyond air display. The current 15th edition is showcasing the self reliance of New India and its capacities.
Aero India is a platform to showcase strength, resilience and self reliance of the country. It is pivotal in shaping the future of the nation too. It not only demonstrates defence capacity but also forges global partnership. Enhancing the defence export and joint production of technology with other countries will be the key point. Every Indian feels proud of that.

Today we got the newspaper flooded with the pictures of the air show. And they were spectacular. I even met few people who could go in person and enjoy it, they were all praises for the show. Now, two more days of the show is left. The pictures in the newspaper today made us feel so proud of our nation and its defence capacities. The country has come a long way in being self reliant.

India is progressing. It has immense potential. And it's on a path of fast economic growth in the last decade and has left UK behind becoming the fifth strongest economy in the country. But then it still has many internal and social issues. We need to keep working on that.

Why are they not showcasing it to a wider field far from a populous cities. It will be annoying and terrifyin to see hear the sounds of the aircraft. In the Philippines, the militaries and navy officials are conducting like that in the widest seas and they oceans. It's like drilling.
