According to the report, the alleged escape of Ali Mamlouk, a senior Syrian intelligence officer and confidant of former president Bashar al-Assad to Beirut has raised several questions in Lebanon, Lebanese newspaper Nidaa al-Watan reported in recent days.

The report said that Nidaa al-Watan reported that Mamlouk is hiding at a luxury hotel in the southern suburbs of Beirut under Hezbollah’s protection rather than facing prosecution. This is despite him being wanted by Lebanese authorities for his involvement in the 2013 bombings of the Al-Taqwa and Al-Salam mosques in Tripoli.

The report also stated that Lebanon's caretaker Interior Minister, Bassam Mawlawi, denied the reports, saying, "According to the information from security agencies, Mamlouk is not in Lebanon and did not enter through legal border crossings."

They were treacherous to Syria and will be treacherous to each other they will be sold out and captured sooner or later the rewards and greed for some are more than they can imagine. They should return to Syria and face the crimes they committed. Why are they running away? The war is escalating in different directions. It seems this war never ends soon.

Let Syria rest and have peace. The war have lasted for many years and everybody is wary of the war. Syria should start rebuilding the country and revitalize the economy than arresting and looking for criminals who will be sentence to prison.

It's hard for Syria to get back to its feet. It will take years. The USA, Turkey and Israel keep on bombing Syria. They're afraid that the Syrian rebels would carelessly use the Syrian nuke.
