After Christmas, what do you do with wrapping paper?

Since my parents asked me to carefully unwrap gifts when I was a youngster, I don't think most people throw it away and it can be used again next year. And now I follow suit as you won't even be able to afford to buy it next year if it isn't damaged.

Am guessing most people usually throw it away, I don't normally get gifts during Christmas though.
