According to the report, Tehran dismissed US President Trump’s warning over any attempt by Iran to assassinate him and called the remarks "provocative."

The report said that on February 4, US President Donald Trump said he had “left instructions” for Iran to be “obliterated” if its assassins killed him.

Meanwhile, an Iranian lawmaker said he would kill Trump after the US president threatened to obliterate Iran if it sought to assassinate him.

The report added that the Tehran lawmaker said: "For my part, I would say that whenever I get the opportunity, I will not hesitate for a moment to kill you, Donald Trump," said Mojtaba Zarei, an Iranian MP.

In addition to the report, Trump's national security advisor Mike Waltz reportedly said “all options are on the table” for the US to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

You cannot even defeat a tiny country, Israel, and yet you have the guts to go to war with the US.
