According to the report, Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused Ukraine of attempting to attack a nuclear plant in Russia's Kursk region, labeling the act as "terrorism." He disclosed the alleged attempt during a cabinet meeting and notified the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which has promised to send specialists.
The report added that the incident follows Ukraine's recent incursion into the region, heightening concerns over nuclear safety.
The report said that IAEA Director Rafael Grossi plans to visit the Kursk plant and later meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss the situation.
