If I am a retailer of a particular popular brand like Nike, and I want to advertise that I sell Nike products on my signpost, is it legal for me to use the logo of Nike on the signpost to advertise? Or is it not legally permitted?

Too I read their rules carefully so that don't violate brand guidelines when promoting products. protect myself legally and financially with proper contracts to prevent recklessly losing money. stay on the radar to protect my profits today.

I think before doing this, you need to find out from the company if it is allowed, or better still, ask for permission first.

To use the logos of those brands, you must get express permission from them. If not, they can sue you for that.
I got you right about the company logo issue. don't want legal trouble with their dangerous suits. Will play by the rules so can stay safe without any unnecessary stress.
