An 11-year-old girl, was found stranded in Kagini, Abuja, after allegedly being maltreated by her guardian.

An 11-year-old girl, Happiness Ugbem, from Oju Local Government Area of Benue State was found stranded in Kagini, Abuja, after allegedly being maltreated by a guardian.


According to Elder Sughnen Yaya, the minor said that her aunt simply known as Caro, brought her to Abuja last week and handed her over to a friend.


She alleged that the woman subjected her to maltreatment, prompting her to run away from the house Sunday in an attempt to return to her aunt.

The good thing about this is that it was decent people who found her, so the matter can be carried to the right authorities.
