The Eaton Fire raged through Altadena in Los Angeles has left an 83-year-old grandfather dead. he was found by his family amid the rubble and ash

Five of at least 10 people killed by the blazes d!ed in the Eaton Fire. One of those victims was Rodney Nickerson, who was discovered dead in his bed on Thursday, Jan. 9, after his Altadena home was reduced to rubble and ash.

As his daughter Kimiko Nickerson walked through what was left of her childhood home on Thursday, she said that the last thing her father said to her on the phone was "I'll be here tomorrow
 
He could have saved himself if he was not in panic. There are 83 years old still active and energetic. People there failed to use their commonsense,once see smoke rose up they should have left safely with their important documents and belongings like clothes, and others that could be carried through their cars.

Yes this would have been what to do. But he stayed still he became consumed by the fire too bad

He died in panic, he might also have had a sickness that deprived him of saving his life. That was so tragic and painful.
