An apprentice, Udeji Bright kills his boss over a teenage girl

A man identified as Johnson Sunday was allegedly stabbed to death by his apprentice, Udeji Bright in Ogiriga community, Okpella in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State. Nigeria

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Friday night, March 21, 2025.


According to a Facebook user who shared details about the incident, an eyewitness, both men were reportedly fighting over a teenage girl.

“Mr Udeji Bright is an apprentice to Mr. Johnson Sunday (deceased) who is a trailer driver. It was said they were f!ghting over a girl who is said to be just 16-17yrs old thereabout. Mr Johnson Sunday was stabbed from the back around 11pm last night. The m*rderer is said to be in police custody

It may not actually be reason the apprentice killed his master. I have become skeptical about media. They do twist news in such a way that make readers to be inquisitive and draw attention from the public.

I agree with you on that. I also wonder why their reports do not synchronize. Some video makers only think of their own advantage gaining attention from the viewers to earn more.

There is no smoke without a fire. There is an element of truth somewhere in the report. That's what I have come to know.
