Another group of Russian prisoners released as part of exchange deal with Ukraine

Russia’s Ministry of Defense confirmed Thursday that it had received a group of former prisoners of war as part of a swap agreed with Ukraine during peace talks in Istanbul. According to Associated Press it did not give details as to how many service members had been exchanged. A video released by the ministry showed soldiers cheering and talking to their relatives on the phone. The Russian servicemen are currently on the territory of Belarus, where they are receiving psychological and medical assistance, the ministry said in a statement. All servicemen will be transported to Russia for further treatment and rehabilitation.
