Are there businesses meant to be ran small?

There are some businesses that I see and one can't even try to run them as big businesses. They are best operated small. Some businesses like vulcanizing, lawn care, home snacks making

You can choose to run them small, but I don't think they are ment to be just small time business. Every business has the potential to grow big. Let's take lawn care for example, it can grow to an organization or company that handles taking care of your lawn, where they employ people to this this with various machines. They could also educate people on how to treat their lawns or help repair or fix lawn machines.

Businesses like photography studio are small businesses. They might expand to have branches but it can't be mega branches.

I think every business has the potential to expand. Even those selling street foods can grow to become an eatery.
