Are traditional voice phone calls dying off?

Instant Messaging apps and internet calls have taken over the way communication is done in this tech driven world. Are traditional phone calls actually dying off in the face of instant messaging and voice calls?

In my country traditional calls are very much alive. Yes we love WhatsApp but the traditional calls have not lost their essence.

Yes, in fact, for me they no longer exist. If I call someone it is through WhatsApp or any online application. I never use traditional calls, for the simple fact that traditional calls cost a lot, they are very expensive no matter how you look at them, whereas, for example, WhatsApp calls are free.

Browsing network is not that stable in my country for us to completely do away with traditional phone calls. It is still very relevant over here.

No i don't think it is dying off and i doubt it will anytime soon. People still make use of it over here.

The traditional voice call phone is still preventing among the uneducated people in India as it's easy to use.

I do more phone calls than I do internet calls on a daily basis. We as still yet to have structures to do internet calls fully.

Yes, they are dying off. I see them only on the receptions of the offices or very rarely at homes after the inception of smartphones.

It would take the stability of 5G internet networks for voice calls to be completely phased out in my country. And that is a long time from now.
