Area around Kupiansk becomes new graveyard for Russian equipment: burned tanks and armored vehicles

According to the report, Ukrainian troops pushed back Russian units to the northern and northwestern outskirts of Kupiansk to the Oskil River, significantly reducing the number of occupying forces on the right bank. The most challenging situation remains on the left bank, where crossings are daily under enemy fire and are being destroyed; however, the defense forces continue to hold the bridgehead.

The report stated that in Kupiansk, the situation is much better than it was two months ago. The defense forces managed to push the Russians to the northern outskirts of the Oskil River, thus making their infiltration into the city impossible. The current state of affairs looks somewhat different from what we see on the map

Additionally, they managed to clear the Russians on the northwestern outskirts, in the wooded area, where they were trying to infiltrate”, Ukrainian military man Yuriy Fedorenko said. As the military man spoke about the right-bank direction, the number of Russian-occupying forces has been reduced several fold at the current moment. In the foreseeable future, the city of Kupiansk will be fully cleansed of both standard sabotage-reconnaissance groups and, possibly, incidental formations.
