Arrack drones of Ukraine’s National Guard pound 14 Russian armored combat vehicles in Donetsk

According to the report, Ukrainian troops have struck 14 Russian armoured combat vehicles, inflicting heavy losses on the Russian army. The successful operation was carried out by operators of attack drones from the Lazar’s Group unit of Ukraine’s National Guard in the Lyman direction in eastern Donetsk region, and within the area of responsibility of the Third Army Corps.

The report stated that one armored combat vehicle was destroyed and another 13 were damaged as a result of the drone strikes. Video footage shared on social media captures the moment of precision strikes from drones on Russian military targets. The report said that Russia had recently relocated the hit equipment to a new deployment area. Engineering work had begun there to build caponiers and covered garages, but Lazar’s Group units struck before the work was completed.

Additionally, Ukrainian army units have scaled up drone and missile strikes on strategic Russian military facilities both on Russian soil and in occupied parts of Ukraine in an attempt to undermine Russia’s ability to continue its full-fledged invasion that is in its fourth year. The attacks target military equipment, armored vehicles, and assets of Russia’s multi-layered defence system. The attacks come amid a lack of tangible results in US-brokered peace negotiations.
