Most business owners are very good with giving corrections to their staff. They don't really give positive feedback even when the staff perform outstandingly.

Business owners should also commend and give positive feedback to their staff.

I completely agree with that idea. Often, business owners focus on correcting mistakes and improving what isn't working, but they forget to recognize and value the team's achievements. I believe positive feedback is essential for keeping employees motivated and engaged. When someone does a good job, a simple word of praise can make all the difference and boost their confidence. Furthermore, recognition fosters a healthier and more positive work environment, where everyone feels valued and motivated to continue giving their best. It's not just about pointing out what's wrong, but also about celebrating successes, no matter how small. Personally, I believe a good leader should balance corrections with sincere praise, because that not only improves productivity but also builds stronger and more lasting working relationships.

Business owners don't always want to comment when their staff does marvelously well. They are the ones that always murmur when the staff does wrong.
