As a business person, know the associations and company that you keep.

A barber opposite my house has suffered severe losses as thugs stormed his shop and destroyed all his business equipment. They were looking for the barber's friend who was accused of raping a lady and is nowhere to be found. They had to storm the barber's shop who is a friend to the accused and unleashed mayhem.

Business equipment lost. Business has a bad reputation. All because the business owner is friends with a dubious person.

Business people don't even have close associations with anyone. It is risky. They always stay neutral.

I relate with people on a personal level and not extend it to my business. You don't come to my business premises on the basis of personal relationships.

That is unfortunate. But I think it may happen because business owners also have friends. Just be careful when choosing friends and do not associate friends with your business.

People that are in business should learn to disassociate unnecessary relationships with their business or else it would backfire.
